Henann Resort is the biggest beach resort in Panglao Island, Bohol.

At first glimpse from the road, it looks conventional. Securities that are precise for guests entering, and quite a walk to the main building of the beach resort.

It’s my second time in Bohol and on that first time since I was then traveling alone, I chose to stay at Alona Hammocks Hostel.

Upon entering, what welcomed us was a surprising massive stunning building of Hennan Resort, the pretty ladies at the reception, some staff scattered around within reach for any assistance needed. The interior is furthermore, glamorous.

We were served a welcome drink, too!

Let’s go to our room

It’s a premier room with a view, overlooking the turquoise and inviting beach of Alona beach from our balcony. May is summer in the Philippines and everyone flocks to the beach to enjoy summer time!

Our room has enough space for everything. The bed was huge and I really loved it because I love big beds and it’s so soft too that I can even play trampoline! (haha)

Yes, that’s me! What a beautiful morning, isn’t it? I wish I have this same size of the bed in my room!

Our bathroom has a bathtub, free hair dryers and filled with toiletries that are being replaced every day.

Every morning since day 1, there’s a staff who came to tidy up our messy stuff. ( haha) Given the fact that it’s a luxury resort, the staff we believed were well trained that they managed to clean and organize our cluttered room.

Breakfast at Christina

Christina’s western cuisine prepares delightful luscious foods for every guest’s appetite such as Chris’ favorite breakfast veggie delight, a grilled sandwich that’s cooked with eggplant, cucumber, and melted cheese.

Everything here was close to perfect and excellent, breakfast buffets are offered for guests in 3 divided restaurants. One on the second floor of the building, Sea Breeze is nearby the beach and a common restaurant for non-guests and Christina’s western cuisine, I and my boyfriend’s favorite place. Why? I suggest this restaurant for breakfast,  Christina offers a cozy relax morning when you want to avoid a little loud music and numerous guests coming in and out and fetching foods. Christina renders and presents a classic ambiance exceptionally for couples. In addition to that, the staff had provided a first class service, too! Since we’ve been there for days, they knew exactly what we wanted to order!

Swimming pools and pool bar

Henann Resort has 3 incredible swimming pools that can accommodate all its guest. After breakfast, you can directly jump off to the pool and luxuriate yourself or sunbath on the beach chair that the resort has arranged for your luxury convenience.

Our favorite pool is the one that’s very close to the beach where we took a lot of photos!

Henann Resort can also be an ultimate beach resort where you can style your photo shoot. And actually, every single spot here is instagrammable so if you’re an Instagram freak and a fan of OOTD or Outfit of the day, you definitely should bring your best outfit! Whether a piece of bikini ( like what I did) or your favorite tank tops and shorts!

One best thing that we love about Henann Resort is the happy hour everyday from 5pm-7pm! Yay! How can we resist a bottle of San Mig Light beer, eh? So, cheers?

Henann Resort is125 meter beachfront.

Unlike other luxury resorts that I’ve stayed at before, Henann Resorts significantly exceeded my expectations of a beach resort accommodation. Of all the beach resorts and luxury accommodations I and we’ve stayed so far Chris and I couldn’t agree more to to the certainty that Henann Resort is our top on the list.

How to get there?

Henann Resort is located at Alona Beach Rd, Panglao, 6340 Bohol, Philippines. You can take a motorcycle from the port from Cebu or Bohol Airport and usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Costs around 150-300php. They also a pick up and send off service that costs 150php per person!

Did you ask how much per night?

Our room costs around $150 per night, depends of course on what kind of accommodation you prefer. You can book via Agoda.com

On a personal note,

Despite the fact that the internet here is rather slow, ( which happens pretty much around the Philippines) and the only downside I could discern, we would like to personally thank Henann Resort Alona Beach Bohol and its amiable staff especially at Christina and the splendid service they had provided us during our sweet escapade.  Henann Resort is absolutely one of our most favorite luxury hotels now. And we’re surely coming back again one day in the future! ♡
